Try Swimrun in Sollentuna – train with EX Swimrun

Do you want to try swimrun or train with others in Sollentuna? EX Swimrun offers regular training sessions at Rösjön, combining open-water swimming and trail running. Our sessions are free and open to both beginners and more experienced participants.

Bring a friend, training partner, or your family and experience Swimrun training at Rösjön with us.

When and Where Do We Train?

We offer two weekly training sessions, both starting at Rösjö Camping, on the meadow behind the café between the campsite and the beach.

Monday – Open Training 18:30–19:30

  • Designed for all levels, perfect for a safe introduction to swimrun.

  • We swim from the docks near the shore but may also explore Rösjöholm and other parts of Rösjön and Fjäturen depending on the group.

  • Distance: approximately 3–7 km with 200–800 meters of swimming.

 

This session is ideal if you are trying swimrun for the first time or want a relaxed introduction to the sport.

 

Wednesday – Fixed Course 06:30–07:30

  • Total distance: approximately 7 km with 6 swims and 7 runs on technical trail.

  • Designed for those who have tried swimrun before and want a more intensive session.

  • Participants run at their own pace, but we always gather afterward for coffee and a group photo.

  • The course is clearly marked with arrows, so everyone can follow it safely.

 

This session is perfect for training technique, endurance, and transitions between swimming and running.

 

What Equipment Do I Need?

For both sessions, the basic equipment is:

  • Wetsuit

  • Dolme (pull buoy)

  • Shoes suitable for swimming

 

Recommended but optional:

  • Paddles

  • Swim goggles

  • Swim cap

Who Can Participate?

  • Beginners who want to try swimrun for the first time.

  • Experienced athletes who want more intensive group training.

  • Children and families on Monday sessions (with adult supervision).

  • Anyone who wants to bring a friend or training partner.

 

Where Does Training Take Place?

Both sessions start and finish at Rösjö Camping, on the meadow behind the café between the campsite and the beach. 

 

How Do I Sign Up?

  • Monday: Send an email to nicholas@exswimrun.se to confirm your participation and let us know if you’re bringing a friend or child.

  • Wednesday: Join our WhatsApp training group, where we post weekly updates and you can find training partners nearby.
